  • Fun to drive and gets great gas mileage!

I love my Outlander GT! Bought it used in 2017 and it's the perfect size. Fits my kids' friends in the 3rd row when needed for quick trips (not comfortably), but we knew that we weren't going to use the 3rd row on a daily basis when buying it. It's handy to have those extra seats though. It has great pick up, is fun to drive and easy to park. Amazing gas mileage! Easily gets over 30mpg on long distance trips. Handles well in Colorado winters too. My only complaint is that the suspension is very stiff and you feel every bump! Overall the outlander is a great value and reliable!

I have owned this car for 13 months. I am kind of particular. But my needs are relatively basic. I like the style of the vehicle interior. The exterior is OK. I have owned Hondas and Kias prior to this. I feel like the quality and ride are on par with those. A couple of things I do not like about the car...the locks are weird. I am used to all doors automatically locking when you put the car in drive. And unlocking when you turn the car off. This one is the opposite. Very annoying. You have to remember to lock the car doors when you’re inside driving. Also I locked my son in the car a couple of times accidentally , when I got out I thought he could get out but his door was still locked. He tried to get out and set the alarm off. Another thing is the sun visors really need to be adjustable. Like the ones that slide out so you can move them depending on where the sun is. Overall, I like it.

I purchased a 2015 Golf SEL TDI a year ago and just traded it for a PHEV GT.I had been looking at this car since before it was available here in the US and I finally found the one with options I was looking for. I live in NYC and on the first tank fill up I got an average of 43 MPH,there are not many cars in the US that give you 40 mph, so to get an suv AWD that gives you that kind of mileage is amazing.I am even getting a higher mph on my second tank due to more electric driving. Mitsubishi claims a 22 mile battery range on battery, but I actually got 28 miles driving from NYC to upstate.I believe they are being very conservative on their ratings. I find this car to be very high tech where it counts, such as the electric drive , AWD and options such as brake hold, the different running modes and options such as adaptive cruise control, brake warning, and lake keeping assist and then it is very manual in the sense that you can turn the functions off just by pressing buttons. I really like that the back seat reclines and to fold it flat you don't even have to remove the head rest, it just folds flat.you also have some nice storage underneath the back floor. I bought this car to keep for many years and so far I don't see any reason why not to.
